Admissions

Admissions

Here you will find information about the admission process, how to make a payment, what you need to do before coming to Montreal, what information is necessary to provide us, and more.

To apply, simply start your online application via our portal here:

Complete the application form. Choose at least one program (you might want to choose a second program). Choose how many weeks you want to study.

Upload passport page showing your photo, full name and date of birth. The passport must be valid for at least two months longer than the end date of your studies.

Pay at least the registration fees. Ideally, to show the visa officer that your intentions are serious, you might want to pay your fees before you apply for the Canadian visa. If you need housing, you will have to pay the housing deposit, too.

If you are not ready to apply online, fill out the form at the bottom of this page and our team will contact you and guide you through the process.

Understanding Fees and Costs

In addition to tuition fees, you might want to consider other costs, such as cost of living while you are enrolled in our program so that you can plan your budget accordingly. If you have any concerns or questions about your admission process, contact us at admissions@learnenglishmontreal.ca

Montreal transport: around the island, students can travel on bus or metro. The STM pass, known as the OPUS card, costs 6 dollars. Students can then decide to buy trips (1-10), weekend service, to pay for a full month, which gives them unlimited rides. For more information about the STM and fares, click here.

ULC has a partnership with evo student residence and can facilitate your booking a room. You can add this request to your admission form and our team will take care of it. You can also book yourself if you want to, just make sure you do it at least two or three months in advance. Booking fees are non-refundable. For more information on our residence option, you can check here.
